    As per the SSC Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff 2026 eligibility requirements, those applying for the examination must be a citizen of India or must meet any of the below mentioned nationality criteria.

    • The subject of Bhutan or

    • The subject of Nepal or

    • Tibetan refugees who moved to India, before January 1, 1962, settled in India, or

    • Person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention to settle in India

    SSC MTS Age Criteria 2026

    As per the SSC MTS age limit, candidates must be between the age group prescribed by the SSC. For MTS, the age limit is between 18 to 25 years (Applicants born not before August 2, 1998, and not later than August 1, 2005). For Havaldar in CBN and CBIC (Department of Revenue) and a few posts of MTS, the age limit is between 18-27 years (Applicants born not before August 2, 1996 and not later than August 1, 2005).
