    The Staff Selection Commission will provide the SSC MTS exam pattern 2026 online in the official notification. The SSC MTS 2026 exam pattern is available to download at ssc.gov.in.     SSC MTS Exam Pattern

    As per the SSC MTS negative marking 2026, there is no negative marking in session-I. However, in Session-II, there will be a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer. It is mandatory to attempt both sessions. If not attempting any session will disqualify the candidate.     Detailed SSC MTS 2026 Exam Pattern - Computer-Based Examination

    The first phase of the SSC MTS 2026 exam will be Computer-Based Examination (Session-I & Session-II). Session - I (Numerical and Mathematical Ability & Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving) and Session-II (General Awareness & English Language and Comprehension) are the two-two sections in each session of the Computer-Based Examination. In the SSC MTS exam pattern 2026, there will be a total of 120 marks (Session-I) and 150 marks (Session-II) in the Computer-Based Examination.     SSC MTS 2026 Marking Scheme - Computer-Based Examination

    There will no negative marking in CBE (Session-I). In CBE (Session-II), there will be a negative marking of 1 mark for incorrect answers.

    SSC MTS CBE Exam Pattern: Highlights

    • As mentioned in the latest SSC MTS 2026 exam pattern, the total number of marks is 120 (Session-I) and 150 (Session-II) in the Computer-Based Examination.
    • The exam pattern of SSC MTS 2026 for CBE has questions in objective type (Multiple Choice Questions) format.
    • The questions in the Computer-Based Examination will be in Hindi, English and 13 regional languages such as Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

    As per the latest SSC MTS exam pattern 2026, the second or final phase of SSC MTS 2026 exam will be conducted in offline mode to test Physical Standards (only for the Havaldar post). The marks scored by candidates in CBE (Session-I & Session-II) will be considered for final merit.     SSC MTS 2026 PET/PST exam pattern: Highlights

    • As mentioned in the latest SSC MTS exam pattern 2026, the phase 2 (PET/PST) of the SSC MTS 2026 exam is conducted in offline mode to test the physical capacity of candidates.
    • PET/ PST will be conducted by CBIC/CBN for Havaldar post at various centres finalized by them. The candidates may be called for PET/ PST to any centre across the country.
    • Candidates must fulfill the requirements for PET/PST as prescribed in the Recruitment Rules (RRs), subject to exemption for PwD candidates.
    • Exemptions as mentioned are subject to the generation of medical Certificate by PwD candidates from a Government Medical Officer/Medical Board certifying that candidate is not able to walk.
    • The candidates who wish to avail any relaxation in PST, the requisite documents must be carried by them while appearing for PET/ PST. The scrutiny of such documents will be carried out by CBIC / CBN at the time of PET/ PST.
