    CTET Subjects 2026 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) releases the official list of CTET subjects in the official notification. Candidates can download the official notification at ctet.nic.in. The list of CTET 2026 subjects consists of all the subjects from which the syllabus of CTET 2026 will be derived.     CTET Subjects List – Paper I

    Paper I of the CTET exam is conducted for the eligibility of the candidates as teachers in the primary stage (classes 1 to 5). The questions are asked from the following sections or subjects.

    • Language I (compulsory)

    • Language II (compulsory)

    • Child Development and Pedagogy

    • Environmental Studies

    • Mathematics

    In Paper II of CTET, candidates willing to teach in the secondary stage (classes 6 to 8) appear for the exam. The questions from the following sections:

    • Child Development and Pedagogy

    • Mathematics and Science (for Mathematics and Science teachers only)

    • Social Studies/Social Science (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher only)
