SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2025 - Nationality
As per the SBI Clerk notification 2025, candidates who are Indian citizens can apply for the exam. Else he/ she must meet any of the criteria mentioned below.
A subject of Nepal or
A subject of Bhutan or
Tibetan refugees came to India, to permanently settle before January 1, 1962, or
People of Indian origin migrated from Uganda, Burma, Pakistan, Zambia, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to settle in India.
Note: Candidates fulfilling any of the four points mentioned above in whose favour a certificate of eligibility by the Government of India has been issued are eligible to apply for the SBI Clerk 2025 exam.

There is no limit in the number of attempts that one can appear for the SBI Clerk exam. Candidates can apply for the SBI Clerk 2025 until they are meet the upper age limit eligibility criteria set by the SBI for all the categories.

Candidates who have already served in the State Bank of India.
Those who have worked in SBI in the Clerical or Officer cadre can not apply for the exam.

The State Bank of India released the SBI Clerk 2025 application form on August 6, 2025 on the offcial website, sbi.co.in. Applicants who meet the SBI Clerk eligibility criteria 2025 will be eligible to apply online until August 26, 2025. The SBI Clerk application form fee 2025 is Rs 750 for General and OBC category candidates.
