Teachers Recruitment Board activated the TNTET 2026 apply link for working teachers on February 18, 2026 on the official website, trb.tn.gov.in. Candidates can submit the TNTET application form 2026 until April 10, 2026. The TNTET notificationon was released on February 13, 2206. The TNTET exam 2026 is going to be conducted on July 4 and 5, 2026(Paper I and Paper II).
Candidates can check TNTET eligibility, age limit, syllabus, etc. given in the notification. Those who are unable to fill the applications within the specified dates won't be allowed further to apply for TNTET exam. Before applying for examination, candidates have to check TNTET eligibility criteria.
Teachers Recruitment Board conducts the TNTET exam once a year to recruit eligible teachers for primary and upper primary sections in government schools of Tamil Nadu. The authority takes two papers in the TNTET exam - paper I (class I to V) and paper II (class VI to VIII) in offline mode. Candidates will be able to apply for TNTET 2026 paper I or paper II or both as per their eligibility. Those qualifying the TNTET 2026 examination will be awarded the eligibility certificate now valid for lifetime. After this, candidates will be able to apply in various schools in Tamil Nadu.
